StarRangers ... In a Strange Land!
Go where ONE MAN has gone before! STARRANGERS ... IN A STRANGE LAND! follows the ministry of Paul, the writer of the Epistles, and specifically his visits to Rome, Thessalonica, Corinth, Galatia, and Ephesus, preaching about Hospitality, Peace, Generosity, Oneness in Christ, and Citizenship in the family of God through the life, death, resurrection and teachings of Jesus. Each of the cities is presented as planets, each community as an alien species, each visit as a way to learn the lesson of the day.
StarRangers follow the adventures of the Starship Consolationprise, as they travel throughout space, landing at each of these planets. Captain Shirk leads the crew, with Chief Engineer Snotty and Ship's Doctor Stethescope by his side. Lt. Harddrive, an android, is trying to reprogram himself to be more like a human, and learns how from each of the communities. Commander Schlock, a half-human, pokes fun at the illogical aspects of being human, but in the end finds himself understanding what it's like to be human. Lt. Commander Uh-oh is the communications specialist. An Oopian from the planet Oops, she provides lots of humor on the bridge.
STARRANGERS is a great way for crew members to learn about the guy who wrote all those letters with such strange names in the Bible. It helps them learn Paul's place in theology, as a man who traveled to different places, teaching people about Jesus and the family of God. They will never look at Thessalonians the same way again!
